Cassandra & Marcus welcome you to our wedding celebration in Tulum!
Ceremony is Feb. 28th, 2026 - Zamas Hotel, Tulum Mexico, please arrive by 5pm. Other events below!
Thank you so much for being part of our celebration! Tulum holds a very special place in our hearts, it’s where we met (yes, on a flight headed here!), and where our love story officially began (donde nació nuestro amor). Between the cave diving, the wild beauty of the biosphere, and a little bit of magic in the air, we were completely smitten, and clearly, it worked.
We have a fun-filled lineup of activities planned and would love for you to join us for several unforgettable days of celebration, adventure, and time together. Scroll on for details about events, reservations, tourist activities, and travel tips and check back often, as we’ll be updating the site as plans come together.
We can’t wait to share this place (and this moment) with you.

If you do one excursion while you’re in Tulum, make it this. Truly. You’ll float effortlessly through crystal-clear Mayan canals in the Sian Ka’an Biosphere, drifting between mangroves and lagoons so beautiful they almost don’t feel real. This ancient waterway system has been used for centuries, and gliding through it feels peaceful, surreal, and completely unforgettable. It’s one of our favorite experiences anywhere—pure magic, puro amor. We cannot recommend this enough. A total don’t-miss, even if you skip everything else.
5:30 pm — Ceremony Rehearsal (Wedding Party Only): Meet at Zamas Reception. Tiny rehearsal, big laughs, questionable choreography.
6:00 pm — Rehearsal Dinner - please RSVP - Meet at Casa Vallejo: Pizza party vibes. BYOB. Casual beach attire. No plan, no program, just good food, good people, sandy feet, and lots of amor. Show up, hang out, stay as long as you like.
Saturday, 2/28 — The Big Day! Amor Everywhere 💙
9:30 am — Morning Yoga with Joanne: Start your day grounded and glowing at Casa Vallejo. Stretch, breathe, and soak up a little zen before all the magic begins. Check back for more details!
10:30 am — Cave Diving with Marcus (because apparently the guys don’t need time to get ready): For the adventurous spirits: dive into Tulum’s caves with Marcus! Don’t tell Chelsea…she has forbidden him, so just text him for details. Adventure + amor = perfection.
5:30 pm — Wedding: Gather in the entrance area for the arrival of the bride and groom, then join us on the terrace for the Ceremony. Love, laughter, maybe a few happy tears—pure amor.
6:00 pm — Cocktail Hour: Coconuts, mezcal margaritas, empanadas, and mingling! Grab a drink, catch up with friends, and soak in the Tulum magic. Note the amazing sunset!
7:00 pm — Dinner & Dancing: Live music, great food, and a dance floor you definitely won’t want to leave. Celebrate, laugh, and dance the night away in full wedding amor mode!

CENOTES
Tulum has the largest underground water system in the world. Visiting a cenote, a fresh-water wellspring, is truly a unique and special thing to do.
Cenote Snorkel Expedition
Explore the unique crystalline water system with thousands of stalagmites & stalactites, fish, fruit bats, and sunken orchid gardens. 4 hour guided experience includes snorkel gear, flashlight, wet suit, water & transportation to/from Zamas.
Private Cenote & Snorkeling Excursion
It’s a 35 minute drive to cenote Nohoch Nah Chic, including 5 kilometers of bumpy road, but this hidden gem in the middle of the lush jungle is worth it. It’s a great opportunity to see birds, tropical flowers and the amazing, crystal-clear water while we swim & float deep into the cavern among stalactites & stalagmites. Our second stop is to Casa Cenote, which connects with the ocean and allows us to see juvenile saltwater fish like barracuda, blue crabs and schools of snook fish all surrounded by mangroves. This 5 hour tour includes snorkel gear, flashlight, wet suit, water & transportation to/from Zamas. $135 US per person.
Cenotes w/ Ziplines
Cenote Tankah y Cenote Jaguar both include the option of ziplines.
SIAN KA’AN BIOSPHERE RESERVE
This UNESCO world heritage site encompasses a vast body of water that provides the ecosystem for the ocean reef. Small boat tours are the only way to access the reserve. There are a few different tours to Sian Ka'an (small boats of approximately 7 passengers). The full day tour is quite spectacular and can be filled with lots of wildlife (birds, dolphins, crocodiles, manatees, and turtles - depending on the day of course). The half day excursion includes a gentle float down a canal with a natural current once used by the Maya for trade. A third option is an early morning or early evening tour to the island of the birds, where thousands of migratory and local birds make their home in the winter months.
MAYAN RUINS
Tulum, Cobá, Muyil, Ek Balam, Chichen Itza
The Tulum ruins are very close to Zamas and are the only site built on the water. We recommend visiting very early or later in the day to avoid the sun and crowds.
The Cobá site is 45 minutes inland and is a large site with lots of vegetation. Visitors can rent bikes to explore the site on wheels (and pedicabs are available as well). Afterwards you can stop by a cenote for a refreshing dip. Not far from Cobá is a natural monkey habitat to visit, guided by a local expert who does not engage in feeding or touching the monkeys. We also suggest a stop at the very romantic Coqui Coqui Hotel & Spa in Cobá for tea or lunch.
Ek Balam is a less visited site about 1.5 hours inland. You’re still allowed to scale the structures and several of them are still being excavated.
Chichen Itza was one of the largest Maya cities and is one of the most popular sites to visit today. It’s about a 2.5 hour drive inland from Zamas.
LAGOONS
Yak Kuul – about 15 minutes inland from the beach, this is a fun place to explore.
Xel Ha – this is an all day excursion that has been developed. It’s about 20 minutes north of Zamas.
CORAL REEF
Leaving daily from our beach, our on-site dive shop goes to the reef. Here is the snorkeling tour – they also have introductory dive tours and other dive possibilities.
Meso American Coral Reef Snorkel Excursion (2nd largest reef in the world)
Hop on the boat at Zamas Beach for this amazing coral reef exploration to see marine life like turtles, stingrays, barracudas, and colorful fish.
Two Hour Guided Experience, Snorkel Gear, Life Jacket & Water. $60 USD/pp
VALLADOLID
Colonial city about 1.5 hours inland from Zamas. This is a fun city to explore – some colonial churches and a zocalo. The cobblestone street has some fun and artistic shops. We like the restaurant at Meson de la Marquez (great fruit smoothies and traditional Yucatecan food). There is an art museum here with the largest private collection of folk art. https://www.playadelcarmen.com/blog/casa-de-los-venados-mexicos-largest-private-collection-folk-art-valladolid/
ATV Tours
Five-hour excursion leaving at 9am or 1pm, daily
Location: 20 minutes from Zamas
Includes: 4 zip lines, swimming in a cenote and a mini rappel, light lunch of golden tacos, beans and rice, natural water and lemonade and a Mayan ceremony.
Price : 75 USD/pp Single or 55 USD/pp Double (Cash only with this purveyor)
MASSAGE
Just want to relax.... we offer in-room massages! Aromatherapy and other treatments available as well!
